A Two-Arm clinical study done in women ages 35-55 for 28 days showed overall promising results in various parameters such as skin tone, clearness, complexion, and glow. There is also reported reduction of acne and wrinkles.
A preliminary clinical study using Two-arm trial method was done in Japan with 20 women of ages 35-55 to test the effect of Theracurmin® on skin quality. The Low Dose group was given 30mg Theracurmin® twice a day consecutively for 28 days, and the High Dose group was given 90mg Theracurmin® twice a day consecutively for 28 days.
Individuals answered a survey at the end of the trial and rated their improvement in skin quality from 1-5 (1=no improvements seen, 5=great improvements seen). Results showed that intake of Theracurmin® for extended periods of time improved skin quality, with improvements seen in skin health, hydration, glow, elasticity, and moisture content. Further studies are currently underway to validate the promising results of this preliminary study.
