What is Theracurmin®?
A plant-based ingredient derived from curcumin (Curcuma longa). Utilizing proprietary technology transforms plain curcumin into a highly absorbable (27x more vs. regular curcumin)* component for our body to use and optimizes its health benefits.
Study Design: Two arms, randomized parallel-group controlled trial
Subjects: 14 healthy subjects(male/female=8/6, age:44.1±8.5years old)
Intake:
– THERACURMIN®: 30mg
– Ordinary Curcumin: 30mg
Area Under the Curve (AUC) 0-6h values of THERACURMIN® were 27-fold higher than those of curcumin powder.
Study Design: Two arms, randomized double-blind 3-way crossover trial
Subjects: 9 healthy subjects(male/female=8/6, age: 24-32 years old)
Intake:
– THERACURMIN®: 180mg
– Company A: 260mg
– Company B: 150mg
Area Under the Curve (AUC) 0-6h was found to be 11-fold and 5-fold higher with THERACURMIN® than Company A and Company B, respectively.
Taking Theracurmin® offers multiple health benefits such as excellent bioavailability, thus letting the wonders of nature and science help your body heal and recover naturally.
Theracurmin® is a by-product of curcumin, which is a polyphenol contained in the rhizome of turmeric and is considered to be the main active ingredient of turmeric. It has a bright yellow color and is used as a natural food dye. Curcumin is also well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects amongst medical and health science laboratories all over the world. A great number of research are being conducted by a variety of medical and science institutes, including American Heart Association, International Society of Nutraceutical and Functional Foods, American College of Cardiology and more.
American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry mentioned that : Epidemiological studies indicate a lower prevalence of Alzheimer disease in Indian people who consume curcumin in curry and a link between dietary curry consumption and better cognitive performance in older adults, supporting the hypothesis that curcumin consumption may provide neuroprotective benefits. [1][2]
Despite such promising research on curcumin’s potential brain health benefits, initial placebo-controlled trials in humans have yielded negative results,[3][4] perhaps because they used forms of curcumin with limited bioavailability. [5]
Good news: Theravalues, the maker of Theracurmin®, has utilized a Japanese proprietary manufacturing process to create Theracurmin®, an exceptionally stable and highly absorbed form of curcumin. Theracurmin® is perhaps the most bioavailable type of curcumin available on the market nowadays.
